Message from the President

Welcome to the CESINE University Centre.

We know that choosing an undergraduate programme as well as the Centre is one of the most transcendental decisions for young people today and that their professional future will depend on it to a great degree.

Since 1993 Cesine, aware of the importance of choosing the best possible option in preparing oneself to become a professional with every guarantee of success, has had the goal of becoming a reference point as far as Higher Education Centres are concerned in all the undergraduate programmes we teach. We are currently leaders in private Higher Education in Cantabria, and one of the most active centres with considerable recognition in the north of Spain.

The Cesine University Centre is located in one of the most emblematic areas of Santander. It has educational programmes that are rigorous, updated and adapted to the needs of the business sector. It has a strong practical approach and international vision.

All of our professors are managers that train students to lead, manage and direct. They are prestigious active professionals in the business world of the firm, consulting and research, whose educational methods consist on constantly supporting and motivating the students.

Our educational commitment is based on a transmitter model that is more formative and integral, meant to foment responsibility in our students. Our students do not limit themselves to simply taking notes and reciting certain concepts on an exam that were learned in a mechanical manner. Instead they develop themselves as future professionals that have constructive criticism capacities, together with initiative and qualities to accept commitments and evaluate risks, with an open, global view that allow for them to face challenges in different economic environments with the sufficient theory and practical training knowledge to handle themselves confidently in the most diverse business situations.

The ever growing basis business reality shows that organisations are demanding a collection of skills from graduates that are not developed in the traditional universities. The Cesine graduates are professionals who are fully capable of integrating themselves in firms and in fact the placement figure is maximum for our graduates.

The key is to apply a teaching model based on academic excellence which is characterised by offering quality education that is practical and personalised. This type of education fully develops professional competence such as capacity of analysis, oral and written communication, empathy, leadership, teamwork, project management, task prioritisation and decision making. Cesine graduates accredit having up to 2,500 hours work placement in firms, fluency in English and IT skills, all of which are essential aspects which make them that much more competitive and so access the job market immediately.
