Our institution

CESINE University Centre , founded in 1993, is a private institution for university, post-graduate and specialised training for firms. It has consolidated itself as one of the most prestigious centres in the north of Spain in the areas of Business Administration, Advertising and Marketing, Information Technology Engineering, and Industrial Design and Multimedia Engineering.

Cesine is authorised by the Regional Government of Cantabria, according to Royal Decree 557/1991, art. 19, on the creation and recognition of universities and university centres, and the Organic Law 6/2001 on Universities.

Cesine complies with all requirements concerning degree validation by the Ministry of Education.

CESINE is linked to highly prestigious international universities.Therefor CESINE Bachelor honors programmes are validated and awarded by the University of Wales. Cesine is also linked to the AMERICAN University in Washington, the Athlone Institute of Technology and the Dublin Business School in Ireland so students have the option of receiving an international education in English linked to their university studies through bilingual programmes, as well as work placement in some of the most important multinational companies worldwide. These programmes constitute a step forward in the Cesine internationalization process and its commitment to face the challenges that the Spanish and international university system are facing with the European Space for Higher Education coming into vigour.
