International Students

The period for admitting new students starts in February.

Foreign students can begin their semester at Cesine at the end of September. In extraordinary cases they may begin their classes in January.

In order to enrol in the CESINE University Centre it is necessary to have passed secondary education, Higher level Formative Cycles, or equivalent qualifications which would allow you to enter a university in your own country. We inform you that it is not necessary to pass the Selectividad or Spanish public university entrance examination.

However, you must do the centre’s admission tests which consist of::

- Psycho technical test

- Personality test

- English test

- Spanish level test

We can provide you with these access tests by mail and once they are done and evaluated by Cesine we will then proceed to inform you of the results. If you are admitted then you will be informed of the conditions, deadlines, and paperwork needed to be done in order to enrol.

When all the tests have been completed, the candidates are informed of the results, and if they are admitted, of the conditions, terms and way of reserving a place and enrolling.

CREDIT TRANSFER

If the candidates have already taken university courses, they may apply for the transfer of the credits for the modules taken. They must provide personal academic certificates and the full programmes of the modules passed.

Student VISA. Important

If your country is a member of the European union or Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland or Monaco then only an identity card or valid passport from your country is needed. Students coming from South America, USA, Africa, Asia and Oceania would have to inform themselves at their corresponding consulates.Students from other than the European Union or Switzerland would have to have the Green Card as well as an insurance policy covering the assistance costs in case of accident.

You must also know that for the Spanish Embassy or Consulate to expedite the Student Visa you would have to present a certificate from the university which states that you have paid the registration fees in order to study the programme or postgraduate studies. You will also be asked for the date of programme commencement and end together with the class timetable. Another fact you must know is that you will have to present a bank certification that states your parents have the necessary financial resources to cover, at least the last six months, the costs of enrolment, accommodation and meals in Spain, 2 way air fare, personal expenses, possible unforeseen events. .
