Twenty companies participated in the 7th Professional Development and Job Opportunities Conference at CESINE Business School with the objective of being a meeting point between talent and business.
Throughout the programme, a group of companies joined CESINE’s students and offered them job interviews. The participating companies were: Banco Santander, La Caixa, IBM, ING Direct, Indra, Draka Comteq, CIC Consulting Informático, C&C Publicidad, Incentro, Solvay, PriceWaterHouse Coopers, Randstad, Ensa, Global Wolder Group, Capuccino Estudio, Galletas Gullón, People Matters, Delirium Estudio, Producciones Mouro y Ambar.
The conference was inaugurated by CESINE’s President, Fermín Gutiérrez Cruz, who described it as “the ideal platform for companies to find a broad portfolio of profiles with experience in different areas, from juniors about to begin their careers to seniors with lots of knowledge. But all of them have a common trait: They have succesfully finished a rigurous academic programme”.
Later, there were lectures of profesional guideance by Raúl Millán, Financial and Bank Advisor at Randstad Professionals and Hugo Rubio, teacher at the Projects Departament in Cesine. Millán went over the subjects of preparing curriculums and the best way to approach a job interview. Rubio talked about continuous training and seeking education opportunities throughout life.
The second day started with a lecture by Juan José Cacho about the management of professional profiles on the Internet. Cacho, Managing Director at Aumentha, is an IT engineer graduated from CESINE Business School who went over the available tools the Internet offers to help find a job. The event finished with a lecture by Vilma Rodríguez, from the company People Matters, who discussed the possibilities for working abroad.
