Artificial Intelligence

From playing noughts and crosses to collecting cans, students have baptised the machine as 'Robostiano'.

The 4th year IT Engineering students from the Cesine University Center have devised a robot, (under the direction of Professor Gerardo Hernandez, Artificial Intelligence Department), which has been baptized with the name 'Robostiano'. The machine, which has multiple functions, is one of the final projects submitted by students of the last IT Engineering graduation class.

'Robostiano' is the result of the work of fourteen students. They, for over nine months, have been investigated and profiled each of the details of the robot making it a pleasure machine, and even sustainable, and that its functions 'Robostiano' has the ability to recycle cans by making a collection a light sensor that is built.

Moreover, 'Robostiano', thanks to the light sensors, has the ability to take a road marking. Thus, the machine can complete a sinuous or tracing a labyrinth perfectly every curve in record time.

Other features of this robot are oriented to a recreational aspect. For example, 'Robostiano' machine is unbeatable in the game of noughts and crosses. He is scheduled to choose every possible moves through a series of coordinates. 'Robostiano' it has no rivals in basketball. The machine is a cream scorers since, using infrared, is able to calculate distances with great precision
