Creativity and innovation have become driving forces of economic and social development. In this globalized world, our future also relies on the ability to create, therefore, companies need to strengthen their creative capital. This can be defined as the combined assets of the company, which will encourage the people, groups, organizations, businesses, institutions, universities and territories.

The Centre for Research and Innovation Enterprise-CIIE-driven Cesine University Center is the meeting point and discussion for creativity and innovation in socio-economic future of Cantabria, Spain and Europe. Its general framework set out in the promotion and development of business research.

Objectives
The CIIE goal is to contribute to competitiveness and development of any company or organization through research and experimentation of management models and advanced management tools that take into account new forms of social organization and new information technology by making companies more innovative.

CIIE research is based on active participation of the most important Spanish companies. All this and more is that organizations collaborate directly in our research project, trying to learn new ways of management which will then be displayed in all its activities.

Our method
The Center for Business Innovation Research-CIIE-responds to the need to research and experiment with new organizations. XXI Century Companies must meet a set of skills, attitudes, leadership, innovation and ways to measure success.

To do so the CIIE thinkers and practitioners meet in different disciplines, provide ideas and conclusions of what the future holds for society and business.

Business Services
• Research Activity: Through CIIE economic and financial studies, market research, technological, industrial design and others are carried out that are of interest to companies in our environment.

• Teaching Activities: The CIIE has the available Cesine Campus, an intelligent centre of 5,000 sq. metres, equipped with all the most advanced technological means, such as computer rooms, multimedia classrooms, specialised labs.

Our library has a large collection of over 5,000 volumes and numerous publications and reference databases and research.

It also offers a Job service and Internship to businesses.
